I need tool help

I am a beginner in the leather world and want to try my hand at tooling. I don't know where to start. I want to get a swivel knife but don't know what length or tube size to get, I have pretty good sized hands. What other tools (kits) should I get to get me started in the right direction. I have read some of the forums and got some help but am frustrated. I am interrested in doing flash art and floral. Any help would be appricateded

I'd get the "basic 7" from Tandy to start out with. Go HERE to check it out. These will do most of what you want to do.

How I started was I got the deluxe beginners kit from tandy a couple of years ago. And now I am finally taking them up on the free tooling classes they give. That is if you buy a beginners kit from them. Its a big help to be able to go into the store and get some help and guidance. Good Luck!!!!
