Members indypbear Posted November 12, 2009 Members Report Posted November 12, 2009 I am looking for a pattern for a Bible cover that is relatively simple in design with a loop or tab to fasten it closed. The design I can create but need help with the construction design. Indypbear Quote

Members bex DK Posted November 13, 2009 Members Report Posted November 13, 2009 Try using paper. Tape together and try putting on until you get something that works. It's easier if the cover is soft and can be bent. Trickier otherwise but can be done. I would do one large piece that covers front, back, and end then two smaller pieces inside to hold the book in place. Make sure the book works comfortably with the paper cover on it--nothing so tight it can't be closed and opened. Then when you have the sizes, add a tab to the back piece that is long enough to go around the open edge up to close on the front with whatever you prefer. Magnetic snaps are pretty nice, IMO. Quote
