Members NoahL Posted November 29, 2009 Members Report Posted November 29, 2009 Hello everyone, This was an experimental piece made of 7-9oz horsehide, only lightly distressed and given a faint striped pattern, with a 100 year old lock plate hanging from twisted, tangled, patinated copper wire. What do you think? Thanks for looking! ~Noah Quote Website: Wasteland Leatherwork Collaboration Projects: The Wasteland Crow Project
Members BlueBlack Posted December 8, 2009 Members Report Posted December 8, 2009 I love the rough and tumble look of this. I'm a big fan of steampunky elements, and I like the harmony of the antiqued leather with the lock plate. Quote
Members NoahL Posted December 9, 2009 Author Members Report Posted December 9, 2009 Thanks! I definitely have a thing for steampunk as well, but I haven't quite reached a stage in my leatherwork where I feel comfortable delving into it, so this is as close as I'll get for a while ~Noah Quote Website: Wasteland Leatherwork Collaboration Projects: The Wasteland Crow Project
