first holster

ok here is my first holster. yall dont laugh to much

Read and then clean up the edges on your holster. It's not too late, in fact you are at about the right stage for the edges of the main seam.

Once you get the edges burnished nicely think about the finish. Aside from the boo boo under the trigger guard that's a really nice job. You just need to take care of the details.

edges have been burnished. the cut away under the trigger guard is per customer request. finish is going to be a simple oil finish. i my self use olive oil as it does darken the leather some, an makes it "age" well

Hey first attempt isnt bad, zoomed in on it minor issue with the stamping. If you are going to dye it go with black it is the easiest. Or a natural stain would look cool. Skive the edge, make the edge smooth, then dye it a darker stain then use bees wax on the edge.
