Here is the Hand Bag / Clutch Purse I made for my wife as a Christmas Gift. It's a Tandem Handbag kit from Tandy. Both sides have the same panel design. The design was one that I took and modified from a design my father did for a tri-fold wallet. I changed the design to follow the arc of the panel, and double beveled the center cross pattern to make it look like stones. I then painted the center stones to look like Turquoise stones using Cova paints. Let me know what you think of the design. My best to everyone, and Happy New Year, Dennis.

Very nice work, Deno. I really like your "stone" effect.

Your wife is a lucky woman.

Geez...that pattern looks ssssooooo familiar. It came out really, really nice Deno. She should be very proud of you and the family tradition you carry on.

I really like that Turq color!

Happy New Year!

I think it looks great, and I bet she is thrilled by it. :)

How did you get the lines? A small brush, a pen, or did you carve those little lines and let the color pool in them? :)
