Thanks I've made some conchos by using JB Weld, a pendant, and a rapid rivet. I taken metal pendants that are painted and roughed up the backside with a dremel tool so the weld would adhere well. Same with the rivet. Need to use JB with a painted pendant because the heat from soldering will melt the paint. You may be able to find a superman pendant that would work. Good luck. Quote

I have found some "Lapel Pins" that I will try for now but if that doesn't work I will definitely be on the look out for some pendants Quote
Members savvydreambuilder Posted March 9, 2010 Members Report Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Another option would be to find a logo that you like and is suitable to be a concho and have it laser cut out of stainless or brass and then braise on chicago screw, or if for a saddle then braise on a saddle screw. If it is too flat, then the laser cut is easily pressed into a dome shape with a fairly simple die.
