i just got my weaver leather catalog. I see some of the same tools as in the tandy catalog but a bit cheaper. Are the round knives good in this catalog. remember i am new at this.

uote] ive been getting supplies from them for about ten years.i met vernon weaver ata trade show many years ago and he is a real gentleman.never had any problems with any order i ever place with them.

Most of the tools that have the Weaver name on them are hand made by the Amish in the area around Mt. Hope. The ones that I have seem to be of a high quality and seem a very good tool for the price, I do not have one of thier round knifes so I cannot say one way or the other on the round knife. If they are like the punches & french edger etc that I have it should be a quality tool for a good price. I have never been disappointed.

The end punches, bag punches and edgers that have the Weaver name are some of the best I've ever found. Wish I could afford their whole line.

The Weaver round knives are the best I have ever used. I bought one and liked it so well I ordered a second my next order. Sold my older Osbornes on ebay.
