Anyhow, got one in one pound and one in two pounds....a friend of mine is getting them for me....they feel well made, most weight is on up from the upper part of the handle all the way to the poly head, not like some others all weight suddenly in the upper head....leather grips are nice and smoth...again, they look like these Al Stohlman mauls, just in yellow.....any body had one, or had some experience with it?? I will try to do some carving tomorrow and will put them to the test....let me know if you all have used these latly......I am able to get some more, maybe also in rawhide....if anybody wants one e-mail me or PM me... Jimbob Report post Posted February 28, 2010 they look good Jimbob;;;;who made them ?? let us know how they do for you;;;;Doc.... Hello, just updating my thoughts.....these poly mauls work just fine, well balanced and I like the way the handles feel !! The one pound is absolutly precise for detail stamping....and the big one is to wack it hard!! Not sure where they made, but I can buy almost two for one of them " white ones"...haha....which are identical exept the decorated top metal part!! So far I like them a lot....anybody needs one drop me a shout!! James
