i have just puchased a singer 3115 is it good enough to sew chaps and motorcycle leathers i also have an old singer 29k what can it be used for

I have no problem sewing with my 31-15, I do use a tri point needle and size 92 thread

the patch machine is a god send for sewing patches on pockets or where there is an inside pocket. ..........happy sewing........
