Members gunfighter48 Posted April 11, 2008 Members Report Posted April 11, 2008 Well I finally got done with my daughter's Bible cover. This is the first book cover that I've ever made, so my daughter is my test subject!! I'm better with holsters and belts!!!!! I need to modify the leather presser foot on my new Consew walking foot machine so I can get my edge guide closer to the needle. My stitching wandered out of the stitching groove in a couple of places but I think the daughter will like it. The inside is lined with pig skin suede about the same tan color. Had fun and learned a few things I will do differently on the next one. John Quote
Contributing Member Jordan Posted April 11, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted April 11, 2008 Very nice I like the colors and designs I am sure she will get years of use out of it. It's always good to try new things, variety is the spice so to speak, plus learning solutions to new problems is always worth the effort. Quote
