Members KnotHead Posted March 17, 2010 Members Report Posted March 17, 2010 Sorry this one is in string. But I didn't want to waste any leather. This one was an interesting knot to tie. This one is from More Western Tack Tips by Tom Hall. Quote
Members megabit Posted March 17, 2010 Members Report Posted March 17, 2010 Cool that would sure make for one fancy halter. Seems like it might work good for a halter you were going to use to ride in, would give you kind of a heel knot. So how much more rope do you need to make a halter using that knot? I generally use 20' -22' with a standard fiador knot. Quote
Members KnotHead Posted March 17, 2010 Author Members Report Posted March 17, 2010 Hi Megabit. I don't know for sure how much more rope would be required. I don't have horses and have no idea about horse gear and how it all works to be honest. I saw that knot and just had to try it out to see how it looked. Some day I'll get to be around horses and learn all I can about the equipment that is used with them. Brian... Quote
HorsehairBraider Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Man, that is a cool knot. One of these days I gotta get me those books and try that one out! That would look awesome on a halter. Quote
