Members LuisPaulo Posted March 20, 2010 Members Report Posted March 20, 2010 Hi, Here is a little difficult to get materials, tools etc.... I need some modeling tools and I have some copper rods (about 7mm diameter). So, I was wondering if could be a good material to make some of these tools... Thanks for advise. Quote

Copper eventually will react with acid and such, it could declorate ur leather due to the tanning acid...., but the material wopuld be great to form and work with to make modeling tools and such....so if I would be u, make your tools u need From ur copper rods and then seal it with clear laquer or such, it will hold for a good while and if the coating comes off....just sand a bit and recoat...done!! Just my opinion!! Greetings from Virginia to u and ur country!! James Quote http://www.elfwood.com/~alien883 First it is just leather....then it is what-ever I can dream off...
