I had these book marked before but lost the page come how, I have checked extensively on google and I cannot find Metal stepped ring mandrels let alone at a good price.

Can anyone help with this? I don't care where there coming from as long as they can deliver in a week at the latest. UK sizes ideally but at this point i'll almost take anything.

The one I had book marked before had rings sizers too.

Did you try

'rock shops', 'rock hounding', rock hounds', 'rock saws', 'jewelry supplies', 'lapidary', 'lapidary supplies', 'ring findings', 'jewelry findings', 'rock tumblers', among other related fields. I don't know what is available in Ireland, but in the States, mandrels are usually found throughout the companies that specialize in selling to those who dig & cut their own gemstones. It's been years since I cut my own stones, so I don't remember any of the names of the companies that sold these supplies anymore (& they may exist no longer, for all I know...).

Thanks cowboy, I don't know why when I put in stepped ring mandrels in amazon I wasn't getting anything close. That is the thing I need but it's sizes are quite limited, And it's not a UK one, It might do anyway, but it will mean having to change sizes each time by 20th inch or so as converted most uk sizes end up with 1/4rs and 3/4 sizes.

The second link doesn't allow much in the way of space when braiding leather rings around it, so it's not so good.

There are a number of tool stores in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham who do mail order. Try: H S Walsh or Sutton Tools

I have purchased from both and they provide an excellent service.
