Now it is skipping stitches. I am using 277 thread in the top and bottom. The stitch length is 5 pi. When it doesn't skip it sews great. Any ideas how to fix this?? Any help would greatly appreciated as this causes my face to turn red. Thank's

dirtclod Report post Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) Check and make sure your needle is in right. The groove on the needle should be on the left side setting at the machine.Plus do you have the right size needle ? You need a 200 size needle for 277 thread. Their good machines. I have a Pro 2000 that i have been using for about 15 years and never had a problem that wasn't a simple screw up on my end. I'll have to take that back a tension spring once and it took about 10 minutes to fix with a new spring.
