Helmets/ Head Dress For Revwar/napoleonic Eras

Hello,

I am new to the forum and I am seeking information on how one would go about shaping the leather for the cap. Various molds, how to adjust for size,use one piece or two of leather, attaching the decorations etc. I realize this is a lot to ask right at the start, but in for a penny in for a pound as they say.
