leatherman1457 Report post Posted May 14, 2010 I just finished my latest custom leather tool. It is a mini ball slicker that is made of Ivory. I scored at the restore(a store that takes donations of old homes and parts from the old homes) odf some porcelain knobs. there was several knobs that looked different and I took them to a friend that knows Ivory. (I thought it might be Ivory). When i got home I had to one up into a ball slicker. (never heard of one either till I coined the phrase). It is great to slick down the cove in some of my frames. let me know what you think of it. the end is pre ban ivory.and the handle is made of bubinga. the ferrule is made of soild brass. the other is a small mini bouncer that I made yesterday. it also has a handle made of bubinga and a solid brass ferrule Hope you like them. Contact me about the bouncers. As for the mini ball slicker I only have a few pieces so I am making them for my own personel collection.
