Contributing Member ClayB Posted May 19, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted May 19, 2010 Clay Banyai (that's me) and Jan Schoonover have teamed up to create a series of lessons to teach the art of extreme embossing leather. We're calling them the Sculptured Leather Art lesson series. Lesson #1 in the series is available now from my Badlands Leather Art website. Jan chose a pronghorn antelope to be the subject of this first lesson. All of the lessons in the series will include a tracing pattern, list of tools and materials needed to complete the project, and detailed instructions including color pictures. This first lesson contains 32 pages of instruction and over 120 color photographs. We've chosen to make these lessons available as PDF files downloadable to your computer. Cost of the lessons will be $25 USD, payable through Paypal. We are planning to make a new lesson available every 6-8 weeks. Future lesson subjects will include animals, fish, birds and people and will teach all the techniques Jan uses on his extreme embossed pictures. We'll be starting work on lesson #2 in the series in early June the subject of that lesson will be a black bear. Plans are to have the second lesson available in mid July.
