Members Normow Posted May 20, 2010 Members Report Posted May 20, 2010 I made this saddle as a project in Bob Lane's (Okanagan Saddlery) English saddle making class. I'll start number 2 as soon as I have all the stuff gathered up. Quote
Members D.A. Kabatoff Posted May 20, 2010 Members Report Posted May 20, 2010 Normow, looks like you did a nice job of the saddle... just a small correction, Bob's last name is Land. Quote
Members Kevin Posted May 21, 2010 Members Report Posted May 21, 2010 Your work is beautiful. I hope you don't mind what I hope is a helpful pointer. It looks to me like the skirt is up about 3/4" too high on the bellies, it should curve down under the belly, unless this is some new thing I don't know about (and there are many). Again, I hope you don't mind because your work looks excellent. I can't help it, Kevin Quote
Members Bondurant Posted May 21, 2010 Members Report Posted May 21, 2010 Nice work! Can you tell us some more about the class you took? Quote
