Just started to create a new seat.. the top is just shaped and not tooled yet, even tho I have the design in my head.. the underside is soon ready.. it´s a lot of work for something that most won´t see when it´s attached, but I like the idea of having details, just knowing it´s there :-)

Thanks a lot! :-) Sewing the seat together and my hands are pretty sore since it´s done by hand.. After I´m finished with the stitches I´m going to dye the rest of the seat.. then I have to sew another round since there will be double stitches, and then..

Just out of curiosity? Are there supposed to be horizontal ridges on your letters?

I love the No Virgin seat, how did the coloring, with air-brush? And what do you use, any leather dye?

Thanks

Thanks a lot! Yea, on this seat I used an airbrush to color the seat.. layer by layer.. I use a danish brand of dye called Narvesvaerte :-) I´m very satisfied with it!

Added some dye to a new seat I´m working on.. trying to get it look a little old and worn.. Didn´t want a motive on this one.. But I can´t decide what kind of licing I should use.. it´ll be simple I think, but what color.. any idea? :-)

I think just a simple "XXXXXXXXX" would look great! In 3/16" Natural colored lace. It'll go well with the antique look (which I think kicks total :censored2:)!!!

Thanks.. I have already started hehe.. I used the "XXXXXX" stitches and tested a few lines with natural, but I was afraid it looked a little too "new" so I dyed it dark brown.. I like the contrast with natural on a brown seat, but... :-) I only had 3mm licing.. it could have been a little wider, but no time to get some new.. I think (hope) it´ll work as it is..

oh, and then done.. I used the suede part of the leather on the undeside.. never tried that before.. I will add a lot of leather grease to it and polish it real well prevent it from sucking up water..

Thanks a lot! Another Motorcycle bobber kind of solo seat with a brass frame.. so far no graphics on theis one, but the cool thing is that it is pretty easy to unscrew the screws and change the leather.. if I want different designs..

The last seat I made was for a new bobber project.. It won the jurys award at Oslo Motor Show 2010..

Here is the bike with the seat on.. (I also pinstriped the bike)5128695177_5f0fd6e363_z.jpg

Also made a belt cover for the show with the builders name, the painters name and me for leather and pinstriping..5124230736_4c56606e00_z.jpg

and the photoshoot...5278722786_4dca06d686_z.jpg
