Members just Posted July 18, 2010 Members Report Posted July 18, 2010 Hi New here I bought a holster at a flea market the other day. It had mold or mildew inside. I gave it a good scrubbing with saddle soap and treated the mildew with alcohol like I read about on line. The mildew seems to be gone and the holster smells like leather again. Here is my question. Now what. I assume it needs treated with something to protect it. I read that you should do nothing with the inside of the holster but I'm concerned with mildew starting up again. And I'm wondering what to treat the outside with. I want the holster to be functional. Thanks for the help Just Quote

Ambassador Luke Hatley Posted July 18, 2010 Ambassador Report Posted July 18, 2010 if after cleaning the holster, will you be useing it or put it in a drawer in the house? Fresh air and sunshine will keep the mildew away.............. Quote
