Members equiss Posted August 3, 2010 Members Report Posted August 3, 2010 Hi all, I am wanting to make a journal cover / notebook cover for my journal. I have not done a lot of these kinds of projects before, but wanted to know what is the best recommended weight for the outer cover, as well as the inner cover flaps - and if those cover flaps should be two seperate pieces or a continuation of the cover? By cover flaps I mean the flaps as seen on the inside of the book when you open it that the cover and back cover slip into to hold the book cover on. Clear as mud? thanks all for your input! I am sorry I never got back to you about the craft aids. After accident, things were really hectic. Thanks again! Quote
King's X Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 No problem....they are in the proud hands of the new owner in Seattle, WA. All parties are happy,. I hope all is well on your end. Just FYI, I was looking for another picture that I scanned for another member on her a couple of weeks ago who was making a book cover.....I couldn't find that picture quickly so I didn't post it, but I am sure you can find the thread. I am getting ready to make my daughter a new binder cover before school starts; I may take progress pixs and post them here, but they will probably be on my blog (address below) for sure! Good luck Quote
