Members Tiffany Posted April 27, 2008 Members Report Posted April 27, 2008 I was trying to find a source of the original Barbour's hand sewing thread that Al Stohlman uses in his "The Art of Hand-Sewing Leather" but not having any luck except on Ebay. Quote
Members Kevin Posted April 27, 2008 Members Report Posted April 27, 2008 Hi, I think any shoe repair supply house should have it. I get mine from AGS in Ashland VA. Good luck, Kevin Quote

Members IanCantwell Posted June 11, 2008 Members Report Posted June 11, 2008 I know the guy in England who's family invented the wax thread used by Barbour. The company used to employ just about everyone in town but has all but closed down due to products like 'Gortex'. I'll see if I can get hold of any more info for you. Quote
