I found the attached pdf whilst searching for historical info about Victorian saddlery and harness making businesses. I was fascinated by the contents and thought you might like to share it. Scroll through for a very brief glimpse into the Victorian leatherworking industry - and be grateful that some things have changed.

I still work a minimum 60 hour week for virtually no money though... that has stayed the same!
