New Round Knife

I just got this knife from Steve Ellsworth ,It's his first round knife.I tried it out and cuts really nice.See what you think of it.

It measures 5 3/4" across the blade

Nice looking knife Steve. I have several questions. Did you give him specs? What kind of steel did he use? I can see he created a bevel back about 3/4" from the edge which I think is good but I can't tell if the whole blade is tapered toward the edge or if the thickness is constant until it reaches the bevel. I would also like to know what the handle material is. I can't tell if it's wood or Micarta. It sure looks like he knows what he's doing.

Bob The knife was made off a old Dixon knife I have.Its tapered back about i"The handle is a man made material that I don't know the name of.

Steve the handle material on your knife is green canvas Micarta. It's pretty much indestructible.
