Members Darkbeer Posted September 14, 2010 Members Report Posted September 14, 2010 Hi folks, this is a sheath I made over the weekend. I just recently started trying to work with leather and would love some tips on improving. This is my third fixed blade sheath, my first attempt was to make a formed leather sheath for a pocket knife that turned out better than I thought it would. Thanks for looking. Quote
Ambassador abn Posted September 14, 2010 Ambassador Report Posted September 14, 2010 Looks really good! From a purely aesthetic standpoint, you might try moving the stitching closer to the edge on your next sheath. When I first started out, I also tried to keep a good margin between the two so no mistakes were made... Quote

Members Darkbeer Posted September 14, 2010 Author Members Report Posted September 14, 2010 Thanks guys, as far as moving closer to the edge I did leave room because I was afraid of mistakes. Next one I will try moving closer and see what happens. Thanks for the feedback. Tim Quote
