Members rawhider Posted September 24, 2010 Members Report Posted September 24, 2010 I haven't been on here in a long time. Long story (had a baby, computer crashed, changed jobs, ect.) My wife, who has ridden mostly english her whole life, has expressed interest in putting her gelding in the hackamore. So I built her one. He has a huge head, so I had to modify my standard measurement a little. It's the biggest bosal I've ever made. The nosebutton is one continuous strand. A little hard at first, but I really like the results. Quote
Members megabit Posted September 24, 2010 Members Report Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) Hmmm that looks familiar. You know what, its still very nicely done. I don't think I could keep track of where I was doing that big of pineapple with one string. I worked on a San Juan Honda the last couple of nights just need to put the burner on. I'll have to be sure to take some pics of it. Edited September 24, 2010 by megabit Quote
Members entiendo Posted September 24, 2010 Members Report Posted September 24, 2010 Rawhider, so nice to see you again! Congrats on the baby! Boy or girl? You're in trouble if you have 2 girls, as mine are killing me now that they are growing up! LOL Can you believe I've never done a multiple strand button? Well I guess I do use 2 strands, even if I do the interweave the same color I usually use a second strand for that. The kangaroo gets a little stressed if I do it all with the same string. I've tried several times to do a multiple strand but I can't make it work for me. Lovely bosel, wonderful work as always. So nice to see you again. The place hasn't been the same without you! Quote
