I'm liking this alot! Extreamly functional and as a cross draw being an option it would work very well for a suit jacket, over shirt and ease of access while sitting...

Outstanding! I never thought of creating more than one position for a holster.

Cool design. I like it.

"Courage brother, do not stumble, though thy path be dark as night: There is a star to guide the humble, trust in God, and do the right. Let the road be dark and dreary and its end far out of sight. Face it bravely, strong or weary. Trust God, and do the right." - General Norman Schwarzkopf

looks to me to maybe be eco flo bison brown. i used it once and it is almost black but you can see the brown in it.

The hand that feeds you also puts the chains around your neck.

I'm looking for a color that is just like that, almost black but you can see brown. Is there any spirit or oil dyes like that?

It's actually just black.

I bought that particular piece of leather already drum-dyed and finished,

Any questionable color appearance is likely due to the crappy cell phone camera I took the pictures with.

thanks for your response, it looks very good either way, there looks to be a distinctly different look to it compared to a dyed black holster unless it is because of the pictures. I like it either way, I don't normally like black leather that much but I seen a seat that looks just like your pictures, it looks like black but also looks brown depending on how you look at it and it looks like it has much more depth than black dye.

I've a side of black veg tanned from tandy which looks like this. Depending on how the light hits it, it can look like a very Dark Chocolate.
