Fix Skin Color After Coloring With Vinegroom

I have a question after colored skin with vinegroom

after rinsing with water and baking soda solution

I have to put resolene to fix the color??

You will want to apply some neats foot oil since vinagaroon dries the leather out quite a bit.

I haven't tested for longevity but none of the items I've vinagarooned have had any treatment other than the NF oil. No resolene, no top coat of any kind. So as far as "fixing" the color goes, at least in the short term (max about 1 year so far for stuff I've made), there's no need.

If you want it shinier, then you can add the top coat of your choice.
