Members gunter Posted October 30, 2010 Members Report Posted October 30, 2010 Dear fellow crafters, Someone asked me to me where to find the patterns for WWII army holsters, axis and allies. Is there anyone up here that has these patterns or might have the knowledge where to find them? We've been searching the net but no chance up to now. Cheers, Gunter Quote Once I moved about like the wind, but now I surrender.(Geronimo) Failure is always an option
Members BIGGUNDOCTOR Posted October 30, 2010 Members Report Posted October 30, 2010 I haven't found any patterns myself. I am on the lookout for a Steyr Hahn holster. An original is preferred, or make a reproduction. IMA sells repros, but I haven't seen the quality to judge it. Sometimes you can find a ratty original that could be a donor for a pattern. What pistols are you looking to make holsters for? Quote You laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at you because you are all the same.

But the pattern for the colt 1911 is wanted by myself aswell. Gunter Quote Once I moved about like the wind, but now I surrender.(Geronimo) Failure is always an option
Members BIGGUNDOCTOR Posted November 2, 2010 Members Report Posted November 2, 2010 All of those are being reproduced, so a pattern should be out there somewhere. My P-38 came with an original. Have you checked with International Military Antiques (IMA), or SARCO? They sell repros. It may be worth buying one to take a part. Quote You laugh at me because I am different.
