It seems to fit fine in a table I have for a juki industrail sewing machine.I have 2 problems it is not drawing thread up properly and even though I oiled it very well it seems to be taxing on the motor..... I'm far from a sewing machine expert, but until they arrive, here's something simple to check- see if the needle is inserted correctly. The scarfed place on the needle should be positioned for the hook to pick up the thread. If it is turned, it may be preventing the pick-up of the thread, and possibly may be the cause of the hook "hitting something". There's also the possibility of a slightly bent needle. Rawhide Report post Posted November 5, 2010 Holly, I'm definitely not an expert on sewing machines, but it's possible that it's a little out of sync. If you watch the bobbin and needle interaction, while turning the pulley, you may be able to "see" the disconnect, and adjust accordingly.
