jerry m Report post Posted November 9, 2010 I saw this and thought I could do that ( they do not have a case long enough for my lens its 9inches). http://www.skytoptrading.com/ My first issue is what thickness of leather to use? I am thinking 7 to 8 oz. It is what i have and i can double it to get it nice and stiff for the lens and back sections. The removable piece (over the body of the camera) and the lens cap area single layer of 7/8. I have a Boss to do the stitching with. I have not done a project were a semicircle gets attaches to a flat. I am not sure how to make such a tight bend?
