Members Greebe Posted November 19, 2010 Members Report Posted November 19, 2010 This past Sunday I was in need of doing something fun. I had some leather left over from several years ago, so I decided it was time that I make a sheath for my tomahawk as I often carry it in the woods with me. I have been carrying this hawk for about 15 years now with the open edge on the outside of a pack, which has worked up to this point but is probably not very safe. Anyways it is made out of 10 oz veg tanned leather and hand stitched, stained and burnished. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out and think that I will get a lot of use out of it. Anyways here are the pictures: Greebe Quote

Members Greebe Posted November 20, 2010 Author Members Report Posted November 20, 2010 Thanks for the compliment. Stitching that much leather by hand was definitely a challenge. Quote

Chief31794 Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 I like the stitching, you must be a superman to stab through that much leather or did you drill holes to start the awl? Ken Quote
