Members BlueRaven Posted November 22, 2010 Members Report Posted November 22, 2010 Hi everyone. I am completely new at this but love it. I love all the great information here. Everyone seems very helpful. I bought a kit from Tandy and finished all of it. I am going to take a class but can't until after the new year. I wanted to keep practicing until then but I have a lot of questions. I made my daughter a bracelet. I stained it with Eco-Flo high lite color stain. I did not get back to it until the next day and I put Eco-Flo Super Shene on it. Now I stained both sides of the leather and also shene both sides. It dried for a good day before my daughter put it on. It turned her wrist the color of the stain. What did I do wrong? Is there a step that I am missing? I just followed what it said to do on the Tandy DVD for the other products. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, BlueRaven Quote
Members js5972 Posted November 29, 2010 Members Report Posted November 29, 2010 In my brief experience, this stuff takes forever to dry. Maybe some heat?? say from a hair dryer on low? Did you call your Tandy store? Quote John Schmitz New to Oklahoma City via Baja Arizona
