Members Fredo Posted December 8, 2010 Members Report Posted December 8, 2010 I'm wondering if any of you place your blue (dummy) guns in the oven when you heat treat your leather holsters. I spoke with the guys at rings blue guns and they said it is comon for them to be heated well above the 120 degrees I would be using to stiffin up my holsters. Quote

The box is about six feet tall and I hang the holsters at the top. The heat lamps are in the bottom of the box so it is well away from the heat source. I have only had problems with the s/w j frame mold. The trigger guard got deformed. All of the other molds seem to be built up in the trigger guard area. Quote
