I've been using acrylic resolin but I notice it cracks a bit on straps. Is atom wax better? Is one definitely better than the other or does it depend on usage of the project? I'm making a case. It doesn't have many 'moving' parts aside from a shoulder strap. Should I be thinning the resolin? Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

I applied it with a foam brush then went over lightly with a large brush to smooth out any air bubbles. Could it be the surface layer of the leather perhaps? I know some leathers just react differently to dyes and finishes.
