I am trying to burnish the edges of my holsters, but do not have any gum tragcanth. I have Howards Feed N Wax, which is bees wax, carnauba wax and orange oil. Will this work? I have tried using a scrap piece of leather to burnish, but I have access to a dremel with smooth shafts as well.

Will neatsfoot oil work? I also have a brick of beeswax I can use, but should it be heated to liquefy it or used as is?

I use Howard Feed N Wax as a sealant, but I've never tried it for burnishing...today, I try something new...thanks for the idea!
