I am still pretty new to leatherworking. I have done a couple of simple projects so far, this is my latest attempt. I am practicing tooling a rose in a pattern I want to use to make a belt for my wife. I have followed all the instructions I could find, this is my third attempt at this pattern. I am pretty pleased with it, but I would like to have others opinions on how it looks, and what I can do to improve.

I took this picture with my iphone, I will take a new picture tomorrow when the sun is up if needed.

Ok, my basic iphone photo wasnt cutting it, so had to go back and find the camera, and made a newer attempt while I was it.

Feedback is welcome. I took the picture on a canvas drop cloth, right after I was finished tooling the leather and had applied a coat of oil.
