Adjustable Hair Blade Swivel Knife

This is a modified swivel knife. It uses spacers and X-Acto blades. You can use the blades with 0, 1, 2 or more spacers between. Using X-Acto knives results in deeper, finer hair details. Of course, there are many new tools out for hair so I do not know if this is any better or not. This one is used in the same manner as a swivel knife. I'm curious as to whether or not it's still made and if anyone has or does use one. I used it when I last did figure carving with hair.

Don't know if they make them or not, but I'm going to use the pictures you've provided to convert one of the swivel knife that came with some tools I bought on ebay.

My understanding is that there is a vendor overseas. Germany or Netherlands? Someone posted it on here quite a bit ago. I believe they said it was $150 plus shipping?

I have always thought about having one of my swivel knifes converted, but I am particular about my collection. Either way, good luck!

I was just curious. I bought this from Robb Barr. He said it was really helpful for him and I had the money. I do not think it was that much. It comes in useful when you want fine hair cut deep. To create individual hairs.

I made one out of xacto blades glued to the end of a sponge painters brush handle. I worked out well if you needed a fix number of blades. I would like to find one like yours but not willing to spend that much.

If I'm not mistaken, these were sold by Hidecrafter a few years ago. I had tried to buy one, but by that time, they had been discontinued. Like King's X, I had also made my own but would certainly like to get one to fit a swivel knife myself, but for a reasonable price.
