How would you take care of ostrich skin if it was on a motorcycle seat? Thanks in advance.

Ostrich is a very tough leather. The tensile strength of the grain is unbelievable.

But the inner fibers are very long. And not tight by any means. So care is needed.

As much as possible, keep it out of the direct sunlight.

There are many choices for conditioners.

I like Bee Natural's product line, their Leather Amour is a great all around leather conditioner.

Using it monthly should do the job for a long time.

Thanks for the reply Paul. I appreciate it very much. Would I need to do anything special to waterproof as well, or would the conditioner do the job? I have a customer that wants an ostrich seat with a tooled center inlay so I just want to be able to tell him how to care for the seat Thanks again!Chris
