so i started my first journal cover today.

i got the leather all cut out, and grovved all my edges.

now the question is: Snaps or Buckles to hold it shut?

the journal measures, 8.5"x 5". i currently own line 24 snaps, and a few of each buckle in 1/2", 1", and 3/8".

decisions... decisions...

The buckle itself can be hold in place by a line 24 snap..this way you'll have "rich" look of a buckle and the convenience of the snap

Also you can use a concho as top of the snap...if you gonna have just snaps...for a fancy look
