Members scottishshoemaker Posted February 5, 2011 Members Report Posted February 5, 2011 I would roughen up both surfaces, glue, then heat up to make rubber supple, a hair dryer will do once glue has dried. then using the back of your knife run around sole, trim then buff to welt. groove then stitch. hope this helps. how thick are the rubber soles?, if they are only about 2mm thick just glue on. any more than 5mm then stitch.
