  2. In the process of doing up workshop and have decided to bite the bullit and get one dedicated machine, I have also bought a Metal Lathe so need the space. All machines are in great condition and all working, the 31k15 is the only one with a motor, the other two patchers, 29k72 long arm and 29k71 a short arm are both treadle. I'm based in Scotland. Make a sensible offer. can post pics if required.
  3. Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.30 I'm an Orthotic Technician, making orthotic shoes, calipers and insoles for hospital patients. Great work! The real job ( hobby) starts around 18.30 to as long as I can before I get the call for bed, the next 8 hours is dreaming of what to make next!

  7. Hello and welcome to the forum! All the above info is perfect! Also go round charity shops and buy cheap leather bags and the like and take them apart to see how things are made. I'm in Perth. Where are you based?
  8. You may have the wrong setter or it may be marked, hence the paint coming off. If they set ok then just paint the bit that shows brass with similar paint. Hope it helps.

  10. Hi it's meant be Mexican round braid! I don't think I got my last lace in the right direction as it looks a bit of. Customer was delighted tho!! Cheers all for comments!!
  11. Hi I don't know the oz as I only use irons or mm's. But it's 3.2 - 3.5mm for the top and 2.8 for the bottom panel. Hope this helps.
