This is a West Texas style variation holster, I put a contoured and flared skirt on it, the stamping was of a simple design to keep in the looks of the period it was popular in, the color is from my home made natural walnut dye/stain, and the leather was aged using a method that I use that works well for me, this holster is made for an 1860 Colt revolver, the leather is Wicket & Crag and russet 8/10 ounce Veg-tan.

I really like the looks of it. I do a lot of similar type work. It's nice to see some good variations out there.

Nice.. I always like the design simplicity of the one piece. Its like having your own personal canvas to play with. I like the coloring.
