Members Miss1932 Posted February 28, 2011 Members Report Posted February 28, 2011 I'm just getting into making motorcycle seat covers, and I was curious what type of leather is best. the vinyls used for seats are all marine grade, waterproofed. Does the leather need to be treated in any way? what weight is generally used. any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Quote

Transfer ur questions over to motorcycle gear, there are tons of bikers making seats....I use 3-4 oz veg tan and then after dying I use neatsfoot oil or when using natural color oil and then wax....also acryl seal will work after light oil.... Ask more questions in the biker section... Greetings James Quote http://www.elfwood.com/~alien883 First it is just leather....then it is what-ever I can dream off...
