Hi, I'm a collector and reseller of heavy stitching machines, I would like a Singer 97-10 to round off my collection, some say they are obsolete and not worth buying, but I just fancy one because they are old and heavy. If anyone in Australia is looking for Singer single or double 7 class machines I have some avalable, even a rare 5-12.post-19343-056438800 1299643188_thumb.jppost-19343-099842300 1299643162_thumb.jppost-19343-056438800 1299643188_thumb.jp

They are not obsolete ya' just don't see them to often. Usually they sell at Weavers auction in June. The last one I saw at the auction sold for 650.00. There was another one that sold on

govliquidation.com last year for 1200.00 it looked almost new. Parts are hard to come by as are mechanics to work on them. Good luck to ya'.
