Members bfaber Posted March 11, 2011 Members Report Posted March 11, 2011 (edited) Howdy, New member, long time lurker. Anywho, I've been looking around for some replica hardware that was used back in the late 1800s. The "tab" flips up, and the insert on the flap pulls out from the "tab". I'd be looking for both parts, if they are available these days. If anyone knows where I could acquire some, I'd greatly appreciate it. Any info is appreciated though. Members simontuntelder Posted June 28, 2011 Members Report Posted June 28, 2011 Wow, that looks great. I have long been looking for similar hardware. Though this is used on garments and was initially used by firemen in a century or so ago. Here is a more modern example of a similar fitting. http://www.oipolloi.com/Store/OiPolloi-DII-279-147-nigel+cabourn+.html Quote
