Members Wild Huntsman Posted March 17, 2011 Members Report Posted March 17, 2011 Hello there! I stumbled upon this most awesome looking forum while trying to find info on a dye last night and got my soul owned by it 'til the wee hours of the morning; there's so much here! Which is great, as I'm mostly self taught and can't afford both materials and classes. In any case, I had to join and look foreward to perusing through posts old and new and maybe making a few in the pursuit of juicy knowledge to help my green skills along. And make no promises I'll always type this correctly. ^_^ I've never posted images in a forum so i hope this works.. here's one of my first headstalls. Quote

Members roo4u Posted March 18, 2011 Members Report Posted March 18, 2011 YUP theres 2 or 3 others on here as well....on of the very good saddlemakers is from here but moved to nevada to apprentice. Quote
Members Wild Huntsman Posted March 18, 2011 Author Members Report Posted March 18, 2011 Aww moved, but yay for the chance to build skills like that! I want to make a saddle pretty bad, and have a tree I pulled from a neglected-to-waste saddle, but no guide and started using up the materials I had for it, heh... Oh well, more leather for headstalls and things! Quote
Members roo4u Posted March 18, 2011 Members Report Posted March 18, 2011 if you look in the saddlery section there are several topics on what it takes to build your first saddle...good luck! Quote
