landy Report post Posted March 23, 2011 I have a 29-4 leather free arm machine I purchased just for sewing patches onto leather without sewing the pockets shut. the walking foot is causing the leather to gather up at the end of the patch like a pleat. I have adjusted everything adjustable, I have even glued the patch to the leather to no avail can anyone help with this problem or any sugestions. That is the reason i sold my 29-4. sometimes i regret selling it, If the Bikers really want to use the pocket and pay for an expert job i take the lining loose and then sew on the Patch.
