Members Maureen Posted March 27, 2011 Members Report Posted March 27, 2011 I've just bought a bunch of Angelus dyes and Fiebings dyes. I got the neutral dye to thin the Angelus with. I got some Fiebings solvent for the Fiebings spirit dyes. I also got a gallon of denatured alcohol. But what do you thin the Fiebings oil dyes with? Quote
MADMAX22 Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 I just use the denatured alcohol. Works fine. I actually use that in all the dyes that you mentioned. Quote
Members marine mp Posted March 28, 2011 Members Report Posted March 28, 2011 What MADMAX22 said, or you can use regular buck niny-eight rubbing alcohol. The rubbing alcohol actually helps the dry to dry faster and leaves leather harder....if a hard piece of leather is what your after. Semper-fi Mike Quote
