Members CharlieR Posted March 30, 2011 Members Report Posted March 30, 2011 I have the 'want to' to cover a ring. I have a two inch brass ring and have two widths of kangaroo--1/8 inch and 3/16 inch. I have two questions. 1) Which width do you think would look better, and 2) How do you determine the length of lace needed to cover the ring??? Hope some of you guys , or gals, can help out here. Thanks for your time. And if I ever figure out how to post pics, I'll show my finished work. thanks again. Charlie Quote
Members KnotHead Posted March 30, 2011 Members Report Posted March 30, 2011 I'd use the 1/8" roo and about a foot and half of roo. Of course that would just be my preference. It is up to you ultimately to choose which size to use. The 3/16 is a bit larger and will cover more area much quicker. The end result will be the same, just not as much of it. Hope it helps some. Members CharlieR Posted March 30, 2011 Author Members Report Posted March 30, 2011 Thanks Brian--yep that helps. I was kinda leaning toward the 1/8 roo myself, but wasn't sure. I'll give it a try and see how she turns out. Quote
